- The elected General Executive had their maiden meeting in the General Secretariat Bamenda, from the 29th – 31st October 2021. The General Chaplain, Fr. Giles Ngwa gave us a Spiritual talk on the Theme “unless the Lord builds a house, in vain does the Labourers labour” ( 127:1-5). The main items on the Agenda for this meeting were’
- Handing over between Secretaries, Financial Secretaries, Treasurers, Socials and 2nd
- Review of the Functions of Executive members as in the Statutes and Bylaws.
- Drawing up of General Work Programme for 2022 – 2024
- Visit to the President of BAPEC. His Grace Archbishop Andrew Nkea for blessings to carry out our duty.
- New Slogan for CWA for 2022-2024. CWA members: we are all called to Holiness through Synodality.
Worthy of note, are the reports given by members of the Executive on supervision of elections in the various Provinces. In this meeting, the General Executive agreed on strict implementation of the Bylaws.
The General Executive has always planned Recollections, Budgeting and Planning meetings in January and February months in all the levels of the Association.
