Members of the CWA Cameroon National executive had their maiden meeting in the weekend from 8th-10th January 2021 in the sea shore Holy Trinity Parish Bota, in Buea Diocese.
It started with their yearly recollection for the executive members and this time the Chaplain Rev. Father Giles Ngwa explained Pope Francis encyclical, Fratelli tutti, a call for love that transcends the barriers of geography and distance and declares blessed all those who love their brothers/sisters (as much as when s/he is far away or when s/he is with him or her).
A courtesy visit was paid to the Bishop of Buea Diocese to receive his blessings and also to inform him of the national executive meeting holding in his diocese.
The budget for the organization for the year was drawn with attention on the upcoming congress in July 2021 where election at the National level will take place.
Invoking Mother Mary Star of the Sea to journey with members back home, CWA Cameroon came to the close of their meeting.
The Bafoussam Diocese in the Ecclesiastical Province of Douala had their first diocesan executive meeting of the year on Saturday the 23th of January. Members of the executive arrived from their respective parishes by 8am and started with Rosary prayers (the 4 mysteries) and the additional mystery of the day. The Spiritual Director for CWA led the reflection and recollection, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Mass.
